Hello, Prof. Mattox,

Greetings from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I work in the Applied Linguistics program of the Department of English.

I was fishing around on the net for some sites that would be good resources for my students as they train themselves in phonemic transcription, and yours just really stood out. I love the animations! I think you should go for an NSF grant with this. I want you to know that I really appreciate your offering this in the public domain and that I admire what you have accomplished here.

With kind regards,

Ralf Thiede
assoc. prof., Applied Linguistics

Hello. Looking for some info to help my 10 year old stepdaughter with her homework, I came across your site. I have a B.A. in English (North Carolina), but work now as a contractor. Trying to bookmark your site as an aid to study for the kids, I found I couldn't navigate the site effectively. Maybe signing up will help!
Thanks.

Hello Mrs. Mattox!
I have been trying to get in touch with you and I remember the website. I just wanted to thank you for your help with my reference form. Your recommendation was a success! I recieved the Nurse Corps Scholarship of December 23, 2003! What a wonderful Chritmas present. I will always remember you. You helped give me a boost in my career.

Forever Grateful,
Brandi Cannon
